I’m so glad Amber and Angie asked me to photograph their wedding reception. What an awesome couple, beautiful evening and fun reception. This was definitely something different for me in that there was no ceremony or wedding party because they were already married. It was like there was no climax to the story so I asked them if they would like to do a first look. I love first looks and I rarely get to do them so this was the exciting part of the evening for me. It’s so special to have that one on one time to get some romantic portraits before seeing all of your guests and getting caught up in the excitement of the day. I wish more couples would consider first looks before walking down the aisle. I think that’s one aspect I would’ve changed about my own wedding day. That and maybe a different wedding dress since I’ve seen every episode of Say Yes to the Dress according to my husband. Anyway, I wish Amber and Angie all the best in the years to come. You two deserve it!
P.S. Thanks again for all the Skittles and Swedish Fish. I think I’ve had my fill of those for a while. 🙂
