At the beginning of the summer I joined a movement called Community Over Competition with The Rising Tide Society. It’s a national group of creative entrepreneurs that believe instead of competing with each other we should be building each other up and inspiring our peers. There are locals chapters of this group that I was fortunate enough to find just as the movement was getting started. The group meets once a month at gatherings called Tuesdays Together. Imagine 30 or so photographers, designers, videographers, calligraphers, wedding planners, hair stylists, etc getting together to talk shop. Let’s just say it’s not a quiet conversation. When I leave these meetings my head is filled with things I want to implement into my business. Enhancing the client experience was my number one priority. I had some downtime in August so I did some revamping on how I deliver my wedding packages. I’ve now got a new album design as well as packaging. I’m working on a welcome package for my 2016 wedding couples next. I can’t wait to get these packages out to my upcoming fall wedding clients. Just gotta take the pictures first. 😉
