I was super busy this fall and it was great. I had three weddings, a wedding reception, an engagement session, a senior session and several family sessions in a three week period. Everyone got their images back within two weeks, even the newlyweds received their images and albums all packaged up and pretty within two weeks. Turnaround time is a major deal to me. No one wants to wait for 3 months before they see their wedding pictures. I want to get them back to my clients while the day is still fresh in their minds.
Now that doesn’t mean I sacrificed family time to do it. For Halloween we had a Batgirl and an Anna and Elsa. Ava went trick or treating with her favorite godfather and his girls. They came back with quite the haul of candy. Yeah, lots of chocolate for me. Anna and Amry helped me pass out candy and drink wine. I did all the drinking of course. We enjoyed the nice weather at the beginning of November and went to the zoo again. I’m sure we’ll make one more trip this year to see the Wildlights. And finally, last weekend we went to a birthday party at a play cafe. I was excited to take all the girls and let them play but that was short lived. Ava had a good time playing with her friends while Sam and I chased the twins all over. Amry fell and got a bloody lip while Anna climbed on everything she could find. So to say the least I will not be taking the girls back there by myself anytime soon. My girls are not cuddlers, they’re climbers. I’m so looking forward to being trapped in the house with them all winter.
