I'm not a writer... like at all, but I still love to blog. I love to see how all of the photos from a wedding or session come together. It's like a visual story of the day.

After I finished my last session of the season at Prairie Oaks last night I took some time to take a little walk and soak up the light. Sure, the leaves in fall are colorful but we photographers are all about the light. The light in fall is just so warm and inviting. As I’m snapping away that scene from Forrest Gump kept playing in my mind. So instead of quoting a bible verse I’m going to quote Forrest Gump.
“It was like just before the sun goes to bed down on the bayou. There was always a million sparkles on the water… like that mountain lake. It was so clear, Jenny, it looked like there were two skies one on top of the other. And then in the desert, when the sun comes up, I couldn’t tell where heaven stopped and the earth began. It’s so beautiful.”
