We’ve been busy doing holiday stuff over the last few weeks. We bravely put up the tree and so far it’s been left alone. The ornaments are only on the top half of course. St. Nick came and handed out Goldfish which was a big hit. We stood in line and sat on Santa’s lap. I figured Amry would be the screamer but she just sat there and stared. Anna wasn’t a fan but still, no real tears. Ava even talked to him and told him what she wanted. Grandma came for a visit and stayed with us for a few days. Ava and her made gingerbread houses or at least attempted to. We went and saw the Wildlights at the zoo. The 60 degree temperatures made it crazy busy. And finally we watched Ava’s Christmas program at school. She didn’t seem to notice the crowd of parents taking pictures. She doesn’t have stage fright like her momma does I guess.
Now we can relax a bit until next weekend’s busy schedule of Christmas parties arrives. Hopefully we get some snow soon. Santa can’t come without snow Ava says.
