I'm not a writer... like at all, but I still love to blog. I love to see how all of the photos from a wedding or session come together. It's like a visual story of the day.

I don’t have my own photography studio. It’s just not something I’ve ever really wanted for my business, especially now that I’m a stay at home mom too. I NEED to leave the house. lol Shooting weddings is my jam but occasionally I’ll step out of my comfort zone and take some newborn photos. I think being a newborn photographer takes some special skills and a lot of props. So. Many. Props. Hats, rompers, headbands, swaddling wraps, pillows, blankets, baskets… the list goes on and on. My house is not big enough to store all of that. If you ask me to take newborn photos for you then this is what I offer. I do lifestyle newborn shoots. That means that I’ll come to your house for your session. I love nursery photos! Everything is so pretty and clean and personalized for you because we are in your house after all. Aiden’s session was perfect. We used the light from his bedroom window and his grandma even got to be in some photos too. We paused a couple of times so he could have a snack because taking pictures is a lot of work. Of course, what goes in must immediately come back out. Before we could continue on with his individual portraits he had a major blow out. Aiden got a quick bath while I set up my lights and we finished up with him lounging in his favorite blanket. And that’s a little bit about how I shoot a lifestyle newborn session.
