Well… where do I begin? This was sort of a last minute trip. I had the opportunity to go pull my own LuLaRoe order from the East Coast warehouse which happens to be 2 hours away from one of my life long friends in Charleston, South Carolina. I decided to go for it and to drag my whole family along for the ride. It was a business trip right? lol
I’ve wanted to visit my friend Bart ever since he moved to Charleston but it never quite worked out. Taking the girls on their first road trip was awesome. They actually did really well in the van. Sam complained more than they did. They got to spend the night in a hotel for the first time. They saw the Blue Ridge Mountains and got to swim in the Atlantic ocean. We spent a day at Folly beach and explored the streets and pier. We took a carriage ride through downtown Charleston and strolled through the city market. We walked Battery Park and saw those super old trees and mansions. We swam in Bart’s pool and ate a ton of french fries. Not too bad for a long weekend. I can’t wait for our next road trip which is only a few months away. Watch out Outer Banks because the Moenings are headed your way.
