One of the benefits of being the oldest grandchild on both side of the family is that I have a lot of younger cousins. Over the years, I’ve been honored to photograph six of their weddings. Clint’s marriage to Emily was number six. Three of those six weddings have been Schroeder weddings (my maiden name). They were on both sides of the family, but that’s a story for another day. Lol I got to know my new cousins-in-law(?) better through the wedding planning process which was another benefit.

My newest cousin-in-law, Emily, knocked it out of the park with her attention to detail. The details she provided me to shoot at the beginning of the day were a photographer’s dream. She provided me with a perfect timeline and family photo list to go off of as well. It was a cold day but everyone graciously powered through and we got those group shots outside. That sunset by the river was exactly how I envisioned it. The evening ended with a Buckeye playoff win!
