My cousin Emerson finally popped the question. This world needs another April Schroeder and soon it will have one. These two braved the arctic temperatures to take some engagement announcement photos by Hayden Falls in Columbus. I was freezing and I had on two pairs of socks and my coat and scarf. Emerson on the other hand was rocking a short sleeved polo shirt. April get that boy a sweater!
I’m excited for their wedding day and to welcome April into the family but mainly I’m anticipating the hog trough dance. For good luck an older sibling must dance in a hog trough if they are unmarried before their younger sibling is. So that gives Emerson’s older brother and sister 16 months or less to find a spouse. Good luck! Dancing in the hog trough isn’t so bad. I’m speaking from experience. Just relish the spotlight for those few minutes.
