I'm not a writer... like at all, but I still love to blog. I love to see how all of the photos from a wedding or session come together. It's like a visual story of the day.
EXPLORE
Oh I just love Snap & Gather and this was my second time attending. You can find the images of my previous experience here. You can tell it’s winter and I’ve been anxious to get out and shoot because I took A LOT of photos this time around. There was a pretty barn, pretty macarons, pretty florals, pretty cupcakes, pretty hand lettering… I could go on and on. This time around after we set up, shot photos, ate and shared ideas; we had a little calligraphy workshop with Taylor from Inkwell & Co. I’d have to say that this was the quietest I had ever heard a room full of photographers be. We were working very hard on our lettering. I’ve been fiddling around with hand lettering the past few months on my own but after working with Taylor I’ve been inspired and I went out and bought some more gel pens today. 🙂 I just love that whenever I leave a group meeting whether it’s a Tuesdays Together or a Snap & Gather, I’ve got so many ideas swirling around my head that I can’t wait to explore. I’ve been in business for almost six years and felt alone for most of them. I can honestly say that I haven’t felt this need to be creative in whatever I do since college. These creatives that I’ve met over the last year have brought out a better version of me. I want to be a better photographer, designer, entrepreneur, blogger, teacher, mother and wife. But I digress… Look at these images of all the pretty things I saw and ate. There are vendor links at the end so be sure to check those out.
You can just hear all those shutters clicking away.
