I'm not a writer... like at all, but I still love to blog. I love to see how all of the photos from a wedding or session come together. It's like a visual story of the day.

Like Sam and I, Chelsea and Matt live in Central Ohio but had their wedding “back home.” There’s just something about a Putnam County wedding that keeps us coming back. The weather was perfect and the setting was beautiful. It was so simple and sweet. I loved it! Phoenix was by far the star of the day. That little guy was cheesing in every photo we took and we took a lot of group photos with him in them.
The backyard ceremony was followed by some party bus and bar hopping time. You can’t have a Putnam County wedding without these extremely important rituals. I loved the rustic look of their decorations at the reception. Again, that cake was simple but elegant. I was excited to see there was a live band playing for the night. I’ve never photographed a wedding with a live band. If you haven’t heard of Brother Believe Me you should check them out. I seriously wanted to put my camera away, grab a beer and start dancing but then I would’ve had to call Sam for a ride home and he wouldn’t have been happy. lol
Congratulations and best wishes Chelsea and Matt! It was a picture perfect day and I’m so thankful you let me be a part of it.
Then there was that one time the best man forgot the rings. He “didn’t know he was supposed to bring them.” Good thing it was just close family and not a church full of people. ha ha
